From photos to a PDF that fits.

TuckPDF combines document photos into a PDF and tries to meet the maximum size you choose. Everything happens on your device.

1. Check the destination’s requirements

Find the accepted file types, maximum file size, and any rules about changing scans. A PDF that is small enough can still be rejected for other reasons. TuckPDF does not submit files or validate official requirements.

2. Add clear photos

Select JPG, PNG, or WebP photos. The first version accepts up to 20 images, up to 20 MiB each and 80 MiB in total, with at most 25 megapixels per image and 16,384 pixels on an edge. Include every page edge and use a well-lit, readable photo. Animated images, HEIC, existing PDFs, SVGs, and remote URLs are not accepted.

If an iPhone photo is HEIC, export or convert a copy to JPEG using your device’s photo tools first. Changing the filename extension alone does not convert a file.

3. Arrange your pages

Use the left and right arrows to change page order. Rotate sideways pages with the rotation button. Remove anything unnecessary. A4 and US Letter use portrait paper with margins; Fit photo follows each photo’s aspect ratio.

4. Pick a maximum size

Choose 500 KB, 1 MB, 2 MB, 5 MB, or 10 MB, or enter a custom target between 0.1 and 25 MB. TuckPDF uses decimal units: 1 MB equals 1,000,000 bytes. Input safety limits use binary MiB: 1 MiB equals 1,048,576 bytes.

5. Create and inspect

TuckPDF tries a bounded set of image sizes and JPEG quality levels. It does not reduce quality indefinitely. The result states the actual PDF byte size and whether it fits the target. Use Inspect every page and the full-resolution view to check small text, stamps, page edges, and fine detail. The preview shows the same compressed image bytes embedded in the PDF.

If the PDF is still too large

Use fewer pages, choose a larger limit if the destination permits it, or follow the destination’s alternative submission instructions. The app offers the larger PDF with an explicit warning, rather than claiming it fits. Keep your originals.

What this first version does not do

TuckPDF does not compress existing PDFs, recognize text, straighten perspective, edit document content, or validate official documents. Generated PDFs contain page images, so text is not selectable or searchable. Tell us which improvement you want using Make it better in the tool.

Privacy and optional statistics

Documents remain local. Optional, anonymous statistics contain only fixed action and error categories. Read the privacy details or change your choice in Usage preferences.
